“I’ve Spent My Whole Life Hating Me”

I never heard of Glenn Beck until this year, and my first impression of him was, “zoobie!”

Boy, was I wrong. And the more I hear him talk, the more I genuinely love the guy. He reminds me of a friend and former bishop of mine (now our home teacher, actually) because he carries with him that kind of spirit that makes me want to hang with him, to listen to him.

If you’ve got 8-1/2 minutes, Beck’s conversion story is great stuff to blow it on:

Sorry, but Glenn Beck is one of those guys who;s great as long as he isn’t talking about politics.

Head strong, stubborn, opinionated, a big emotional crybaby-but real. No matter what anyone says about Glenn, he’s real-what you “hear” is what you get. And I respect that. A lot.

In today’s world where speeches aren’t written by the same person who speaks them and politicians and experts are really just professional schmoozers who have been socially airbrushed-I wish there were 1,000 more Glenn Becks.

He definitely seems to be a pretty decent guy.
